Clonakilty to Kilbrittan

Leaving Clonakilty, we cycled out along Clonakilty Bay and by small roads to the lovely beach of Ballinglana. The coastline with its rugged cliffs is marred by an overspill of old refrigerators and the like, reminding you of Italy and Spain where such sights are common. After a short stay at Dunworly Bay, we crossed over to the next bay, Courtmacherry Bay, and passing through Butlerstown, we reached Courtmacherry itself which is strung out along the water of the bay.
