A Trip to Scotland and the Western

Our plan is to find a B&B or hotel in Lochmaddy, but as the rain
and wind get worse, we are tempted to stop at Langass Hotel which announces
itself on the main road down a sideroad about 500 mts. A very nice small
hotel situated about 5 miles from Lochmaddy, which luckily has a room for
us, so we can get in out of the rain. In the evening, we go for the three-course
dinner in the dining-room instead of the usual bar meal, and it is certainly
worth the extra cost. After dinner, the weather has cleared up wonderfully
(as it seems to do most evenings) though it’s still very windy, and we
take a short stroll to the nearby ring of standing stones which overlooks
a small loch. It really is a lovely hotel in lovely surroundings.
