A Trip to Scotland and the Western

At breakfast we meet our first Gaelic speaker, one of the Scots girls from
the island of Islay who tells us a lot about the islands in general,
and Barra in particular, and we decide to stay on at Castlebay for another
day and take a trip round the island, leaving most of our gear at the B&B.
The road from Castlebay to Nask continues south to the next island, Vatersay,
with a small causeway to connect them. There’s a cold wind blowing from
the north, and the air is so clear that we can see the mountains of Scotland
to the east.
