After breakfast in the palatial dining-room of Castletownshend Castle (you can imagine from the name alone, how this family dominates this place), we pushed our bikes all the way up the main street again, and set off for Union Hall and Glandore. Union Hall presented nothing very memorable, but Glendore turned out to be a very nice little town with some marvelously situated summer cottages overlooking a small bay. At the entrance to the bay are two small islands called Adam and Eve. 'Avoid Adam and hug Eve' used to be the sailing directions for entering the harbour.
