Skibbereen to Castletownshend.

From Skibbereen we went back a little to the small town of Baltimore where there is a ferry service to some of the 100 Carbery Islands, and also a connection to Schull which we might have taken the other way, had we known about it. Baltimore is a pleasant small town centered around the harbour with the ferry service. There is a beautiful Coast Guard station which according to the legend outside has performed many useful rescues, among others of participants in the famous Fastnet race.
