Friday 14 July 2000

After breakfast we struggle back to Stornoway with a strong wind against us, and get ready for the ferry to Ullapool which leaves at 12:40. It’s running a bit late because of the wind, but on the return trip to Ullapool, the wind is right behind us, so we don’t feel it at all. The ferry is full up with cars and people, many of them the musicians from the festival with their large instrument cases.
