Today we leave Summerside by the same stretch of the Confederation Trail as we came in on, leaving it again at Reads Corner to go southeast on the A1. This is very crowded, but after leaving it again at Ross Corner heading for Bedeque and the Blue Heron Scenic Drive, we have the road almost to ourselves. We cross under the Confederation Bridge at Borden-Carleton and go on to Cape Traverse, where we find the B&B we have booked down a side road. It is close to the beach at Bells Point, where we spend the afternoon lazing around. Supper back at Cape Traverse.
