Llanberis to Llandwrog
Saturday 19 July 1997

Today we got up early to go on the first train up the mountain at 9. There was already a crowd waiting, including a party of Japanese tourists, and some Danes. The train was pushed 900 mts up-hill by a steam engine, a trip which took one hour. 30 minutes pause at the summit and one hour's return. Jacob walked down to be able to do a picture on the way - the summit was rather crowded!
Well down again, we started off for Caernarvon in a roundabout way on small roads, approaching the city along the coast to the south-west.
