The further south we go, the fewer cars we see, as there’s an end to the
summerhouses and icecream huts when we enter a nature reserve where neither
are allowed. The coast is stony with very little vegetation and further
inland a belt of stunted pine trees. At Hammarudde, the westernmost point
of Gotland, we turn around and head for our lodgings. A lovely, lazy day!
